Welcome to Burnt’s Black Friday 2025 Help Centre guide. Below you’ll find a simple breakdown of how our Black Friday sale works, including discounts, returns, delivery, gift cards, loyalty rewards, and more.

These points summarise our full Black Friday 2025 Terms & Conditions, which apply to all promotions and offers during the Black Friday period. By shopping with us during this time, you automatically agree to those Terms in addition to our standard policies.

1. When is Black Friday & What Does It Cover?

Our Black Friday sale runs only during the Promotion Period shown on our website or next to specific offers. All offers, discounts and promotions apply only within this window and are subject to stock availability. If an offer has a set start and end time, those times are final. All times are in South African Standard Time (SAST).


2. Discounts, Promo Codes & How They Work

  • Black Friday discounts are valid only during the promotional window.

  • We do not apply discounts to past orders, and we can’t make retroactive price adjustments.

  • Some promotions apply only to specific products, collections or groups of customers, please check product pages for details.

  • Discounts cannot be combined with other discount codes unless clearly stated.

  • We may limit how many items each customer can purchase to keep things fair for everyone.

Important: Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. Items can sell out while still in your cart.


3. Stock, Availability & Pricing Errors

We do our best to keep all product information up to date. Still, errors can happen. If an item is listed at an incorrect price or becomes unavailable after checkout, we may cancel the order and notify you. If the correct price is lower, we will refund you the difference. If it’s higher, we may cancel the order and issue a refund. We also reserve the right to cancel orders that appear fraudulent or abusive.


4. Changing or Cancelling Your Order

Due to high Black Friday volumes, we are usually unable to modify:

  • Items or sizes

  • Colours

  • Shipping addresses

  • Billing details

  • Quantities

If you need help, contact us immediately at [email protected] or via our ChatBot. We’ll try to assist, but changes are not guaranteed once processing begins.


5. Delivery Times During Black Friday

We work hard to ship orders quickly, but please expect delays due to demand.

  • Delivery estimates shown at checkout are guidelines, not guarantees.

  • If delays occur, we’ll update you where possible.

  • International orders may incur customs or import fees, which remain the customer’s responsibility.


6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Black Friday orders can be returned or exchanged as long as they meet our returns policy.

Eligibility

  • Items must be returned within 60 days (unless otherwise stated).

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and have all original tags/hygiene seals attached.

  • Burnt may refuse returns that show signs of wear or damage.

How to Submit a Return

  • Please do not send items back without authorisation.

  • You will need your order number, name and the email used to place the order.

Refunds

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method where possible.

  • Processing typically takes up to 14 business days after we receive and inspect your return.

  • If a refund to the original method isn’t possible, we may issue a gift card instead.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges depend on stock availability.

  • If your preferred replacement is out of stock, we will issue a gift card.

  • If the replacement costs more, you’ll be asked to pay the difference.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are usually responsible for return shipping.

  • The first exchange is free.

  • If we sent an incorrect or faulty item, we will cover return costs.

Sale Items

Most sale items can be returned unless the product page specifically states “Final Sale” or “Non-Refundable”.


7. Gift Cards & Store Credit

If we issue a gift card or store credit, it will follow our standard Gift Card Terms & Conditions. Gift cards exclude shipping fees and B-Bucks. We may refuse to issue gift cards in cases of suspected fraud or abuse.


8. B-Bucks, Bundles & Free Gifts

Promo Codes

Promo codes must be entered at checkout before payment. We cannot apply a code retroactively.

Free Gifts

These are limited and available only while stocks last. We may replace a free gift with something of equal or greater value if needed.

Bundles

Items sold as a bundle must be returned as a complete set unless otherwise specified.

B-Bucks

  • B-Bucks can only be used if the promotion allows it.

  • They cannot be combined with other discounts unless we state otherwise.

  • B-Bucks are non-refundable and not reinstated if you return an item purchased using them.

  • B-Bucks cannot be used to buy gift cards.

  • Using B-Bucks may affect eligibility for certain promotions or minimum spend thresholds.

  • Burnt may restrict or cancel redemptions in cases of suspected abuse.


9. Fraud Prevention

We may:

  • Limit quantities

  • Require additional verification

  • Cancel suspicious orders

  • Refuse refunds in cash and instead issue a gift card where abuse is suspected

Orders intended for resale or bulk buying may be cancelled.


10. Purchases Through Third-Party Channels

If you buy Burnt items through other retailers or platforms, their terms will apply. Returns for third-party purchases must be handled directly through that retailer unless we instruct otherwise.


11. Faulty Items

If something arrives damaged or faulty:

  1. Submit a return via our returns portal: https://burnt.co.za/tools/return

  2. Include photos of the issue

  3. Our team will assist according to our warranty policy and SA consumer protection laws.


12. Marketing & Order Updates

You may receive order confirmation emails, dispatch notifications and other transactional communication. If you’ve opted into marketing, you may also receive promotional email updates. You can unsubscribe anytime.


13. Changes to the Promotion

Burnt may change, pause or cancel any Black Friday promotion at any time due to technical issues, stock shortages, fraud concerns or for any other reason.
